Dr Zosia Piotrowska is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a thoracic medical oncologist, in the Centre for Thoracic Cancers at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA.
Dr Piotrowska received her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine and trained in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and in haematology/oncology at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Massachusetts General Hospital. She was awarded a three-year Career Development Award from the LUNGevity Foundation in 2017 to investigate the underlying mechanisms of drug resistance in EGFR-positive NSCLC.
Dr Piotrowska’s scientific interests centre on targeted therapies and EGFR mutations. She is experienced in conducting clinical trials in the areas of NSCLC and SCLC. Her aim is not only to improve the therapeutic options in those areas, but to also understand the mechanisms underlying resistance to EGFR-positive NSCLC treatment.
