Prof. Suresh Senan is Professor of Clinical Experimental Radiotherapy at the Amsterdam University Medical Centers, location Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Specialising in radiation oncology, Prof. Senan’s research in lung cancer includes concurrent and post-chemoradiotherapy combined with immunotherapy, stereotactic radiotherapy, MRI-guided adaptive radiotherapy, and the interrelationships between treatments and patient quality of life.
Prof. Senan is also a member of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC), the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), and serves as a faculty member for thoracic malignancies at the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO). In recognition of his special contributions to international lung cancer research and education, Prof. Senan has received the Heine H. Hanssen Award.
